Boredom

In Pokémon Emerald, there’s this Team Aqua grunt stuck in line.

He says:
“I should’ve brought my Game Boy Advance so I wouldn’t get bored.”


We’ve all been there.
How many times have you gone to a conference, a family gathering, or even a hangout with friends…
only to scroll on your phone, zoned out,
wishing you were somewhere else?

But the grunt wasn’t mad at being bored—
he was just annoyed he didn’t bring something fun to pass the time.

and That’s the real message here:

Even in the most boring places, you could spark a great conversation.
Map out your next creative move.
Catch a detail in your surroundings that inspires something new.

We don’t always get to choose our setting.
But we do get to choose what we bring into it.
